WINNER: The Energy Saving Awards

Thorn’s Plurio luminaire with NightTune technology has been named Lighting Product of the Year at the Energy Saving Awards 2022.

Vice President of the Thorn Brand, Saurabh Pandhi accepted the award at an awards ceremony in London at the start of December.

According to the Energy Saving Awards’ website, ‘The awards have been created to acknowledge the important work that has been achieved by manufacturers, installers, contractors, suppliers and organisations to reduce carbon emissions and become more energy efficient.’

This award win is further kudos for our product and technology offering and allows us to demonstrate our commitment to helping customers achieve their sustainability goals through energy reduction, while also reducing costs and negative impacts on the environment.

The Plurio luminaire is also recognised as being dark-sky friendly, having received the International Dark-Sky Association’s Fixture Seal of Approval at the beginning of the year. Combined with NightTune technology, there are many benefits for customers that extend beyond energy savings.
